Cashing in a MTT

The biggest cooler hand came right before the bubble. I'm in the BB with QQ, button raises approx. 4x the BB. I thought he was real strong, like AK, AA, JJ. And because we were so close to the money and the 2 of us were about even in chips, I just smooth call. Flop comes K-x-x. I check, he checks. Turn was a blank, I check, he bets 3000 and I call. River was a J and I check and he checks as well. Now, I know i played this hand like the weak-tight player I am, but in the end it saved me chips when he flipped up AK.




Before the cash in the 17K, however, I ran really bad. Now I know ya'll hate bad beat stories, but here a HH that will boggle your mind (I only expect this type of play in the Mook):

Yeh, thats right. He calls off his stack with J6o. Thats worse than my play to Mook with K10. Has to be the most frustrating thing ever, and for this I am sorry Mookie. I guess that's FullTilt's way of saying "What goes around, comes around."
